Lego Land Part II

Ok, so here are the pictures from our little vacation that I promised. There's a lot of them here, so if you need to take a bathroom break, or get a snack or something, do that first. We're going to be here a while.

Here we are in the parking lot, ready for a day of excitement.

This was the first thing to greet the boys as we came into the park. A Lego dragon. You can see Will is checking out the map. He really loves maps.

A Lego bird watcher.

Lego Man!

And of course, what would Legos be without Lego Star Wars?

These aren't the droids you're looking for.....

Here, the boys are trying to take away this old lady's bird seed!

They've even got Luke in on the act.

A view of Lego Land from the sky. This was taken on the first ride we went on. The park is pretty big and very beautiful.

They always have some Legos out for the kids to play with while they wait in line for a ride. Luke took full advantage of this.

The Lego Carousel

Luckily, Lego Land was built for kids of all ages, so there was even things for Luke to enjoy. Here the boys are playing on one of the Duplo Village playgrounds.

Jack and Will driving Daddy around in an old jalopy.

Firefighter training!

Welcome to the Lego Kingdom.

This is the Dragon Coaster. It's difficult to see, but Will and Daddy are in the 3rd car.

Here's jack having a blast on "his" roller coaster.

Will trying to wake up a sleeping guard.

This is what happens when you cut in line!

Jack driving through the jungle on safari.

All of these animals are completely made out of Legos. Amazing!

Now it's Will's turn at safari.

Here you can see Daddy, Will, and Jack cruising around in their Lego boat.

The boys each got to drive on a track, and they earned their Lego Land driver's licenses.

Lego Explorer. I want one!

Ok now, for the Lego cities. All of these cities and attractions were models all made from Legos. These pictures really do not do it justice. This was the coolest part of the park to walk through.

This is the Daytona 500.

Kennedy Space Center

Las Vegas

New York

Time Square

A New York apartment building with fire trucks responding to an emergency.

Stature of Liberty (with the ferry circling it)

Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood

Another working fire (Los Angeles or San Francisco, they kind of blended those two together)

The Golden Gate Bridge

Aaarrrrggghhh.....pirates!

Washington D.C.

Ok, one more family picture, and time to head home!

We had so much fun. We were one the last two families to leave the park.....an hour after they closed!

Alright, now when are we going to Disney World?
