One Week Ago...

After being in the hospital for 20 hours, 4 of which I was in labor, we welcomed Luke Ryan into the world at 11:29 am on Wednesday, October 13, 2010. I have to say this was probably the longest delivery I have experienced. Although it is our third one, I was very emotional and overwhelmed with happiness. Adam was a great coach throughout the event. We are both very grateful and blessed with such a beautiful family. Luke weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce, and measured 21 inches. He is doing great. We took him to his first well-baby check-up, and he's doing fine. So far he's a wonderful baby. He sleeps most of the day and almost all night. I have to wake him every two to three hours to feed. He rarely cries and is always content. I have to say three boys sound like a lot of fun and we cannot wait to begin this new life as a family of five.
