Cape Crussader Turns Four!

Where did I leave off?

Oh, yes I have this amazing post on Jack's Batman themed birthday celebration that I'm also behind on...too bad it isn't a picture overload post! ;-0

A little over a month ago Jack turned four and I still can't believe that he is a preschooler. He's still so tiny to me and I just love that about him. Jack loves to snuggle and I have to admit that he is probably the best at it. He's one of the happiest, funny, spunky, loving, independent and kindhearted little boy that I know. Our family has been blessed with an amazing little person. We love you Jack!!!

He woke up with the brightest smile and ready to fight crime!

He opened his first gift from us very early that morning.

He loves his cape, mask and gloves!

After breakfast and Adam's hand painting.
We took Jack and the boys to Monkey Joe's to start the fun day.
Jack rock climbing..
He went down the biggest slide head first..
He bounced all his energy out in the bouncy castle...
He played with his best friend the entire time..
Jack and Will had a blast..
Luke and I did too!

After a few hours we came back home and washed up for the party.

Jack played the Wii Resort for a little while.

Jack was so happy waiting on his guests.

While we got the place ready with balloons and streamers!

I found these cute batman decals to place on our windows. So cool!

The Birthday cake! Yummy!!
(No cupcakes, mommy's oven was broken!) : (

Hot dogs, coleslaw, chips and cold bottled drinks. Yum!

Our little Graduate

I know I'm a little behind on this post and a few more, so in my defense I want to explain why I haven't stayed "productive" on our blog lately. After the last day of school it's been sorta' crazy busy around here. We're having so much fun sleeping in until 8 a.m. We play outside (all day), reading, watching baseball (only the Braves of course), watching movies, visiting Nana's & Papa's house, and doing much of nothing... feeling sorry for me yet? Probably not, but you have an idea of what I've been up to.

I want to share a very special moment in William's life and in my life. It brings so much joy and happiness that I always feel like crying because it's a very overwhelming feeling. Two months ago, William Clark walked down a stage wearing his cap and gown to receive his Kindergarten diploma. Watching my first born reach this milestone made me so proud and tears of happiness came down my face. I know that he won't stay little for long and just the thought makes me cry even more. Can we slow down time for the next 12 years or more....pleeease? :')

 2012 Kindergarten Graduate!

He recited two bible verses and sang a few songs. He's come along way from the shy little boy he used to be! :)

The moment we all had been waiting for... *tear

Our sweet Jack also graduated from K-3. He sang a couple of songs to Jesus. He's definitely not shy at all!
(He's on the front row on the right.)

This was such a fun night. Second Baptist Kindergarten does a wonderful job making it a special night for the kids and the parents.

2012 Rookie ball

I have had so much fun watching William play rookie ball this season. I'm so sad that this season is already over.  Monday was his last game. We sadly lost to the Yankees 22-15. In the beginning it was a very close and promising game, but then we let it get away in the 4th. Needless to say, the White Sox's made it far and played excellent. They ended the season in 4th place. GO White Sox!!!

Here are the best pictures we took of Will playing rookie ball.

Will always had a serious look on his face every game. (he he)

playing outfield

Running the fastest towards the ball!  (I'm not totally biased)
 In action!

This kid was always moving. Either jumping or running to back up  the first baseman.

Photo Shoot Time!

Here's a video of one of Will's games when he scores a "home run". It needs some serious editing but trust me, it's worth watching! :)

All Toddler!

Luke is eighteen months old and he can do a lot!

He can, run, kick a ball and throw one, self feed, read books to himself, talk (much of it is baby talk), attempt to put on his shoes, climb, tell us no(his favorite), play hide-n-seek, look out the windows, dance, play with hot wheel cars, and make fire truck and train sounds. He enjoys listening to music (specifically SCC), eating (he loves everything I give him still), playing with his older brothers, meeting with new friends, pointing to things, watching the Backyardigans, smiling, and giving hugs and kisses.   :)

Here he is getting ready to slide...
 He loves to slide!

Yay!!!
 One or two more times...pleeease!

Reading books while I change him.

Brothers rain boots and ready to go outside!

Oh yeah, the typical toddler tantrums have started!

Playing so sweetly in his room.

Want to play hide-n-seek?

All of our boys love their animal friends. Luke already started a collection of his own too!

Happy Easter!

I know I'm a little behind on Easter pictures. So before I forget to post them, here they are!

Getting ready to dye our eggs!

Luke had so much fun! He loved dipping his little fingers in the dye cup. :)

want some?

more, more and more eggs.

Adam had to work on Easter Sunday so we decided to celebrate Easter a day early. Surprisingly, no one seemed to complain about it... except for me of course!

Goodies and candy

 Picture time guys!

We dressed the kids early and headed outside for a mini photo shoot.

They were in such good spirits. It was pretty easy taking these pictures!

Cheese... or tummy...

Later that afternoon we did our little egg hunt in our yard... of 50 + eggs :D

It took a while to find all the eggs but Luke loved every minute of it!

check out his basket... ain't he good?!

It was really sweet watching Will and Jack helping each other find eggs. We have really sweet and kindhearted little boys.

Jack taking a break... I wonder what he found?

After a long egg hunt we came inside to for our big Easter dinner. I did spend a couple of hours in the kitchen but it was so good!

The next day me and the kiddies got up early and went to church.

After church we celebrated and did a little egg hunt at Nana's and Papa's house too!

The boys were so ready and happy to find eggs again.

Luke had fun just walking around their big yard.

Will with his sweet Aunt Angie and funny Uncle Dale (and baby Zachary too, you just can't see him...yet!)

Cool Aunt Amy and Luke opening the eggs.

The sweetest and most loving grandparents!

Three very happy little boys eating a bunch of Easter candy!
